Millie the Model was a comic book series published by Marvel Comics from the 1940s to the 1970s. The series featured the adventures of Millie Collins, a teenage model who constantly found herself in humorous situations. It was one of the longest-running titles of Marvel Comics' predecessor, Timely Comics, and was notable for being one of the few titles featuring a female lead character. Millie the Model was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Dan DeCarlo and first appeared in issue #1 in 1945. The series was known for its comedic tone and featured guest appearances from other Marvel characters, such as Captain America and Spider-Man. Millie the Model also spawned a spin-off comic series, Patsy and Hedy, which also focused on teenage female protagonists.
